Job Overview

The Medical Logistics Coordinator will oversee the end‑to‑end supply chain of medical commodities, ensuring timely procurement, storage, and distribution to health facilities throughout the northern region of Liberia. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, managing transportation logistics, and coordinating with field teams to respond swiftly to health emergencies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics plans for the procurement, warehousing, and distribution of medical supplies, vaccines, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the organization’s logistics management system and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
• Coordinate transportation routes, negotiate with local carriers, and ensure compliance with customs and import regulations.
• Collaborate with program staff to forecast demand, prepare shipment schedules, and respond to emergency health crises.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage contracts, and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality products.
• Prepare detailed logistics reports, budgets, and performance metrics for donors and senior management.
• Train field staff on proper handling, storage, and documentation of medical commodities.
• Ensure adherence to safety, security, and quality standards in all logistics activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, especially in humanitarian or healthcare contexts.
