Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our field operations team in Ganta. Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and bulldozers to perform site preparation and earthmoving tasks.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Follow detailed blueprints, grade stakes, and verbal instructions from site supervisors to execute precise excavations.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations and environmental protection protocols to prevent accidents.
- Coordinate with ground crews and other machine operators to ensure seamless workflow on the construction site.
- Report any mechanical malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the maintenance supervisor.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in operating heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety and hazard identification.
- Ability to read and interpret basic site maps and technical instructions.
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork in high-pressure environments.
Education
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or a vocational certificate in heavy equipment operation or a related technical field. Specialized training in specific machinery types is highly preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating heavy construction machinery in a professional setting is required. Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure or civil engineering projects is an advantage.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical certifications.
