Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Blockchain Solutions Architect to join our growing team in Gbarnga, Liberia. Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end blockchain solutions architecture for clients across financial services, government, and commercial sectors
• Develop technical specifications and architectural documentation for distributed ledger implementations
• Lead proof-of-concept development and pilot implementations of blockchain applications
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms and technologies based on project requirements
• Create smart contract architecture and design patterns for various business use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, security specialists, and business analysts
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on blockchain best practices and implementation strategies
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams on blockchain technology
• Develop integration strategies for connecting blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems
• Monitor emerging blockchain trends and evaluate their applicability to client challenges in the Liberian context
• Establish governance frameworks and security protocols for blockchain implementations
• Create performance optimization strategies for distributed ledger networks

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of blockchain architecture patterns and distributed systems design
• Proficiency with multiple blockchain platforms including Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, and Corda
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and consensus mechanisms
• Experience with smart contract development using Solidity, Chaincode, or similar languages
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms

Education

A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Candidates should demonstrate continuous learning in emerging technologies through relevant coursework, certifications, or professional development programs.

Experience

Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in software architecture or solution design, with at least 3 years specifically focused on blockchain technology implementations. Proven experience designing and deploying production blockchain solutions for enterprise clients. Background in financial services technology, digital identity systems, or supply chain transparency projects is advantageous. Experience working in African markets, particularly West Africa, and understanding of local business contexts will be considered favorably.
