We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our team in Monrovia, Liberia. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and support to WWF’s environmental conservation programs, focusing on sustainable development and environmental governance. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental assessments and monitoring to inform conservation efforts
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans and strategies
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders, communities, and government agencies to promote environmental conservation
  • Provide technical support and capacity-building for WWF staff and partners
  • Analyze and report on environmental data to inform programmatic decisions

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of environmental conservation principles and practices
  • Experience with environmental impact assessments and management planning
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with local partners
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or a related field.

Experience

The salary range for this position is LRD 50,000 – 80,000 per month.
