Job Overview
The Admissions Officer will play a pivotal role in managing the full admissions cycle for undergraduate programs at the Greenville campus. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the incumbent will be responsible for attracting, evaluating, and enrolling qualified candidates while ensuring compliance with university policies and national education standards. This position involves close collaboration with academic departments, marketing teams, and student services to deliver a seamless applicant experience. The role also contributes to the university’s broader recruitment strategy, supporting outreach initiatives, digital marketing campaigns, and community engagement activities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end admissions process, including application receipt, verification, evaluation, and decision communication.
- Conduct applicant interviews, assess academic credentials, and recommend admission offers in line with university standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and educational NGOs to promote the university’s programs.
- Coordinate campus tours, open house events, and virtual information sessions for prospective students.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create targeted recruitment materials and digital campaigns.
- Maintain accurate admissions data in the university’s CRM system and generate regular reports for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with the Ministry of Education regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to applicants throughout the enrollment process, including scholarship information and visa assistance for international students.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail for managing high volumes of applications.
- Proficiency in admissions software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM platforms is a plus.
- Analytical mindset to interpret enrollment data and identify trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of Liberian higher education policies and international student recruitment best practices.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in higher education administration are advantageous.
Experience
At least three (3) years of experience in university admissions, enrollment management, or a comparable administrative role within the education sector.
Salary
The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from SSP 1,200,000 to SSP 1,800,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based incentives and statutory benefits.
