Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that all products manufactured at the Barclayville plant meet stringent regulatory and internal quality standards. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve any non‑conformities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update quality assurance policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Conduct internal audits and supplier assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production processes, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Maintain documentation and records in accordance with GMP and ISO standards.
• Participate in validation activities, including equipment qualification and process validation.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and external auditors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ensure that all staff are trained on quality standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management software.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Six Sigma Green Belt are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of three to five years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer health sectors. Experience with regulatory inspections and audit preparation is essential.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 1,200,000 to SSP 1,800,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary is paid monthly and includes statutory benefits as required by Liberian labor law.
