Job Overview

The Aviation Safety Analyst will play a pivotal role in monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing safety protocols for aircraft operations within Liberia. Reporting to the Safety Manager, the analyst will collaborate with regulatory authorities, airline partners, and internal teams to ensure compliance with international safety standards such as ICAO and FAA regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive safety audits of airline operations, maintenance facilities, and ground handling services.
• Analyze incident and accident data to identify trends, root causes, and preventive measures.
• Develop and update safety manuals, standard operating procedures, and compliance checklists.
• Collaborate with the Liberian Civil Aviation Authority to ensure alignment with national and international regulations.
• Prepare detailed safety reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of safety management systems (SMS) across partner airlines.
• Participate in emergency response planning and simulation exercises.
• Monitor emerging safety technologies and recommend integration where appropriate.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data interpretation and statistical tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and stakeholder engagement.
• In-depth knowledge of ICAO Annexes, FAA regulations, and industry safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, Safety Management, or a closely related field is required. Advanced certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Aviation Safety Management System (SMS) credentials are highly desirable.

Experience

Applicants must possess 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in aviation safety analysis, regulatory compliance, or a similar role within the aviation industry. Experience working with national aviation authorities or international airlines will be considered an advantage.
