Job Overview
The Mobile Network Optimization Analyst will enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of MTN Liberia’s mobile network. Reporting to the Network Operations Manager, the analyst will analyze data, identify optimization opportunities, and implement solutions that improve coverage, capacity, and quality of service. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze network performance metrics such as drop rate, handover success, and throughput to pinpoint improvement areas.
- Develop and execute optimization plans for radio access network elements, including antenna tilt, power settings, and frequency allocation.
- Collaborate with planning to model traffic forecasts and recommend capacity enhancements.
- Conduct drive‑test measurements and post‑optimization validation to ensure target performance levels.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting outcomes and ROI.
- Stay updated on emerging 4G/5G technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and network performance tools.
- In‑depth knowledge of LTE/4G architecture, radio planning, and optimization techniques.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. Certifications such as CCNA or Nokia Network Optimization are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in mobile network optimization, performance analysis, or radio planning within a telecom operator or consulting firm.
Salary
The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 3,500,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses are also part of the package.
