Job Overview

The Audit Manager will lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from financial institutions and manufacturing firms to government agencies and NGOs. Reporting to the Audit Director, the successful candidate will oversee audit planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and local regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and execute audit engagements from inception to final reporting.
  • Lead audit teams, assign tasks, and provide coaching to junior auditors.
  • Develop risk‑based audit programs tailored to each client’s industry and operational environment.
  • Review financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare high‑quality audit reports, presenting findings and actionable recommendations to senior client management.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards, and emerging regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with KPMG’s advisory and tax teams to provide integrated solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to KPMG’s quality control policies and audit methodology.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Proficiency in audit software such as KPMG Clara, IDEA, or ACL.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Leadership qualities with a focus on team development and mentorship.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and local accounting standards.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.

Education

A recognized bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are highly preferred and will be considered a strong advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants must possess a minimum of five to seven years of progressive audit experience, preferably within a Big Four environment or a reputable regional audit firm. Experience leading audit engagements for clients in sectors such as banking, manufacturing, energy, and public sector is desirable.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 1,500,000 to 2,500,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and performance. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and a retirement savings plan.
