Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced computerized diagnostics to identify faults in engine management, transmission, and electronic safety systems.
- Interpret complex data from On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) systems to troubleshoot intermittent electrical issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop long-term repair strategies for heavy-duty and passenger vehicles.
- Maintain detailed digital records of all diagnostic tests and repair procedures performed.
- Conduct routine system calibrations to ensure vehicle performance meets manufacturer standards.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians on new diagnostic software and hardware.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in using automotive scanning tools and oscilloscopes.
- Deep understanding of internal combustion engines and hybrid powertrain architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex electrical circuits.
- Excellent technical reporting and documentation skills.

Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a closely related engineering discipline is required. Professional certifications in advanced automotive electronics are highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, preferably within a dealership or a high-end service center. Proven experience with electronic control units (ECUs) and sensor calibration is essential.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s technical expertise and previous experience in the field.
