Job Overview

The Digital Communications and Media Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping LNBC’s digital strategy, managing content creation, and optimizing online engagement. This position requires a creative professional with expertise in multimedia storytelling, social media management, and digital marketing. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital content strategies across platforms including websites, social media, and mobile applications.
  • Produce engaging multimedia content (videos, podcasts, infographics) aligned with LNBC’s editorial standards.
  • Collaborate with journalists and producers to digitize traditional broadcasts and create on-demand content.
  • Analyze audience engagement metrics to refine content performance and expand reach.
  • Manage LNBC’s social media presence, ensuring timely updates and community interaction.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve visibility of digital content.
  • Coordinate with international partners on cross-border media projects and cultural exchange initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Liberian languages.
  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of media regulations and ethical standards in Liberia.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on audience growth.

Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field. Advanced certifications in digital marketing or media production are a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in digital media, preferably in a broadcasting or news organization. Experience working in Liberia’s media landscape is highly advantageous.

Salary

2,000,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
